In this episode of the Oxygen Not Included Guide I review ways of producing oxygen with the Algae Terrarium and the Algae Deoxidizer. Using Gas Permeable Tile allows you to have the CO2 (carbon dioxide) sink to the bottom of the base and keep the oxygen near the top of the base. Later in the video I use an Air Scrubber to remove the CO2 from the bottom of the base. It uses clean water and outputs polluted water. Luckily we had a water geyser that was around 40 degrees Celsius as a source of endless fresh water.

I moved the Cots away from the outhouses and up in the base where there was more oxygen. I also made some mess tables to reduce stress while the dupes eat. I also put in some paintings to improve decor and reduce stress.

I had to build 2 massage tables in a bit of a rush due to high stress. I should have made one earlier but got distracted! Also, food started running low so I made a Microbe Musher to produce some yucky Mush Bars. I also planted some Meal Lice in planters and then destroyed the planters so that the seeds would fall on the ground and then grow naturally in the soil. The benefit to this is that they won't use fertilizer and I think they also will produce a seed after all the growing cycles, which a standard yield in a planter box doesn't provide (I think). To get air pressure over 750g I had to put an Algae Deoxidizer in the room and seal the room using a manual airlock. You could also use a gas pump to pump gas in and pressurize the room but I chose to use a Deoxidizer.

I used the medical cot to heal up injured duplicants to remove the negative debuff "light wounds" which reduces athletics by -3 and slows the dupes down. You can see their health in the Vitals menu. I also put a refrigerator in the frozen ice biome so that it would not require power and the food would not decay.
