Hi this Andrew from http://www.gametestplay.com and I'm going to show you how to get a high score on Pac-Man. All you need to achieve a 6-digit score is to learn 3 patterns and a few tips for freestyling. The first pattern is only used on the first stage, and sets you up with an opportunity to eat all four ghost, which is a good way of maximizing your score early on. After this point you should try luring all of the ghost near your for the remaining power pellets, keeping in mind of the behavior of the ghosts. The ghost switch AI from chase to scatter mode, when in scatter mode the ghosts move towards their respective corners. When in chase mode, Blinky persues Pac-Man, Pinky tries to get in front of Pac-Man, Inky will do the same but draws in with Blinky, and Clyde with cower back to his corner if he gets too close sometimes. The second pattern can be used from stages 2 through 4. make sure to turn around before the last dot in the bottom right. Don't forget there are two blind alleys where the ghosts can't go up. If you're timing is good you should be set up to eat 4 ghosts with the first power pellet. Freestyle from here on to complete the level. Repeat two more times. The 3rd pattern begins on level 5, the apple, and you can use it for all the way up to level 16. The great thing about this pattern is that it takes into account almost the entire maze except the power pellets, leaving minimal time for clean up at the end. Nab the two dots and continue to make your way around the level. Alright this where you can start to improvise. If you have enough time to eat the frightened ghosts, go for it. Some stages your bonus time will be too short so don't go overboard, you should reach over 100,000 easily by the time you reach the first key.
