Hey this is Andrew from http://www.gametestplay.com and today I'll be reviewing 10 Second Ninja X.
10 Second Ninja X was developed by Four Circles and published by Curve Digital for PS4, xbox1, and PC in July 2016. The game is a trials based puzzle platformer and the object is to destroy all the robots in under 10 seconds.
You can jump, double jump, slash, and shoot up to three ninja star. The lower your time, the more stars you earn, which go on to unlocking more levels. New gameplay mechanics are introduced every so often. Such as reflective wall and switches. There are 100 levels. And a marathon mode where you can test your skills against a set of levels from each world. The controls in the game feel nice and tight. It's fun and compelling to keep lowering your time because of how precise everything feels, and yes there is a quick restart button. I was able to keep shaving off hundredth after hundredths of a second on the first levels, which is a testament to how excellent the controls are and the well the levels are designed. The levels are designed to be replayed over and over again, and I did not get bored even after playing the same round 100 times. I found 3-stars to be a suitable challenge, but I read it was too difficult for some reviewers. The marathon mode wraps up the levels nicely, and there is an overworld to discover hidden CD pieces. At the time of this review, there is a gamebreaking bug that will prevent your progress from saving. I lost 2 perfect marathon runs and several hours of gameplay. If you see a save logo hanging in the top left close the application because nothing will save. This ruined my entire experience. Overall, 10-second Ninja X is a top choice for time trial action, but it's gamebreaking bugs at launch prevent this from being an A-list title.
