Painting to Music - Joseph Haydn's Piano Sonata No 49 - Portrait Using Dry Paints
3Piano Sonata No. 49 by Franz Joseph Haydn, with some background painting for extra flavor. Basically, painting set to music without any commentary or discussion. If you want some classical music via youtube, this will give you some additional background imagery. Or if you just want to watch a novice try to freehand paint, this is for you.
The featured oil painting's subject was somewhat difficult because I tried to use paint that had been sitting on the palette for a couple of days. It was getting a bit too stiff and dry, but I was trying to be frugal and make my paints last. I had to lean into adding linseed oil, but it still made for some challenging paint blending.
