00:00 - Unholy Ossuary by Miss Bubbles (2017)

A while ago I spotted this mentioned on a Quake awards site that no longer exists. It certainly seems like it merits the award, for pulling off id1 episode 3 style with original ideas very well.

25:21 - Well of Lost Souls by Miss Bubbles (2017)

Whereas Unholy Ossuary was E3-themed, this is E4-themed. I didn't like this as much as Unholy Ossuary - I'm not much of an E4 fan, and this level seemed rather dark in spots and felt more directly derivative of E4 itself rather than doing its own thing.

43:28 - Infernal Ascent by Ubiquitous (2016)

This map certainly has some interesting ideas; it leads you through 3 distinct areas which sometimes peek at or intersect with each other.

1:16:44 - Symphony of Science by Ubiquitous (2016)

Symphony of Science has an almost-Honey-like vibe between its color scheme and fog. It had a couple of rude bits of combat, and one major issue with conveyance, involving a shootable switch that the player can't see (but that a message mentions), which seems to intend for the player to launch a grenade through a grate that looks rather dense for a grenade to pass through.

1:49:39 - Of Three Plantagenets (2019)

This mini-episode clearly shows the evolution of Ubiquitous' skills - not only in the years since the other 2 maps, but also within this pak itself. The final map in the pak particularly stands out with a lot of cool and unique texture use. I also thought the "blocky" bits of the first map looked pretty cool.
