Panza Kick Boxing (Amiga) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
Panza is a difficult game with a big reputation, with training options and 55 different moves on offer. But will this game stand up after so many years, or fall flat on its face? This game was requested by StuAmigArt for his involvement with the Quantum Leap project. Thanks Stuart!

I remember this game being a little faster than the footage suggests, but then this may be because I trained my fighter to be quicker and with more use on combos back in the day. They seem to have fixed this with Best of the Best - a game I'd never heard of until I checked out the Lemon database. So I installed both games and played them on the same 1MB setup and on the same day.
Editing with the new microphone is much easier, but this still took the best part of a week to edit, with the final day on the Friday. I rendered the final film but noticed the sound sync was off for the game, so I had to re-render it. I took this time to add the Comparison Zone, and I'm glad I did, as it makes the show a little bit more fun.
To be honest I was never very good at this game, and the training gives no indication as to what went wrong with the weights and the jump rope, so this means the average player isnt going tp get very far. This is not Shadow Fighter or even IK+, and I feel this is a much deeper game than those, and much less arcadey. I cant call this a Thai Kick Boxing Sim, but it is for the player who invests in the longer challenge.
Best of the Best feels like Super Panza Turbo Edition or something. I'm not sure if there is meant to be a crowd, or if they start to appear later, but I noticed the SNES version has an animated crowd and even camera flashes and a ring-side trainer jumping up and down like Mickey, so its well worth checking out.
