(5K Subs!!) Desert Apache (Amiga) - A Special Playguide - by LemonAmiga.com
To mark the occasion of five thousand subscribers, I made this special review yesterday. I hope you like it. Desert Apache is a shareware game which tries to offer an FMV experience, on just 4 disks.

I dont get too many comments on these lesser-known reviews, and no funding for these shows, but after noticing the subscribers on LemonTubeAmiga reached 5K this weekend, I thought I'd make something special. This game was never meant to be part of this series of 3D and Shoot Em Ups, but it seems to fit. I never played this game before, so I had a few practice goes to make sure I could at least handle the controls. I couldn't work out which direction I was supposed to pull the controller to remove the warning, so I just rotated it in a fast circle to check all the directions before the label went off, and it seemed to work.
I recorded, narrated and edited this yesterday evening, and then spent another two hours today with the little bits and rendering. I forget to add the crawl bars for the title (Played on an A500 000 with 4MB) and the Average Score (which isnt really fair based on just the Lemon database rating of 45%).
The issue of trying to get support or funding for these shows has been settled this week, as there was no interest in Patreon, and no interest in any more kickstarters, and no mention of this channel on any major channels, I have decided to give up trying to make the Amiga videos my lifes work, and have removed the reference to Patreon in the credits and show notes. Its not like I could be bothered with Patreon anyway. I notice some Patreon users reap the free funding without making their shows any better, or higher in quality or appeal (apart from Kim Justice). I spent £320 on new equipment this month, after my old machine died, including an El Gato ripper for ripping games from real machines. But with no income last month except for £39 for editing work, its looking like I may have to take a break from the Amiga videos.
