Thing on a Spring is a game which I always wanted to know more about. The game starts off with a steep challenge, but soon we find this is quite a bit more fun.

Yes this was just an idea for a cross-over video, to cross-promote the (rather neglected of late) Lemon C64 channel. I am trying to make the videos one week ahead of release, and be one video in front. Lemon64 videos can take just as much time to edit as Lemon Amiga sometimes, so a lot of work goes into these, even though I am really trying not to give myself as much work to do.
After watching Kim Justice playing Thing on a Spring, I knew I had to give this a fair play. Many players dont understand how to play this game, and the controls took me a while to get the hang of, especially the jumps. I realised after this play that I can just walk off the top platform to get the first Present/Item, so the game is certainly not as bad as I made it look.
Next week I will undertake a game that is so hard, I needed unlimited lives to even attempt to cover it. I will run several games using unlimited lives this series on LemonTube64, so I hope all the pain was worth it.
