Mega Typhoon (Amiga) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
Mega Typhoon is a fast and smooth shoot em up on the Amiga, with lots of action and bullets flying around the screen. It is also currently being played in the Lemon Vs EAB competition, so why not try this out and post your scores. :)

I had never seen this game before I played it for the first time last year, and never had this back in the day, but after trawling through all the best shoot em ups on the Lemon Amiga Database, this one came out above most others. So I gave it a try last August, and I got as far as you can see in this video. But then, I realised while editing this that the firepower from training carries over into the full game, so I had to re-shoot the first part again to show what its like normally to play. But I used a configuration which turned the Amigas audio filter on, so thats why the sections dont match in terms of audio. I died at about the same point in the original footage, and also in the re-shoot, and is as far as I've managed to get.
After most of the work had been done on this on Monday, ready to clear the decks for a working week, my machine refused to switch on. So I ordered a new motherboard thinking it was dead. It finally arrived on Friday, leaving me without a computer all week. I finished the edit for this game and rendered it on Friday, and started the upload. By 1am it still had over an hour to go to finish uploading, so I switched the machine off thinking I'd complete the task tomorrow. Saturday arrives and now my new machine wont switch on again. Same issue as before. Its a brand new CPU, so I swapped the memory boards over. The machine came back to life. So there is a chance it was the memory which was failing on the old motherboard after all.
