Para Bellum Games: An in depth look at the Huskarls of Conquest!
I'm usually not excited about human models, but I was pretty eager to get these guys. Look at them! They're even bigger and beefier than the already released Nord Raiders, and those guys were pretty swole to begin with. The Huskarls are all decked out in heavy cloacks, heavy armor, and carry giant shields and weapons into battle with them.
While there may not be as many included options as there were in kits such as the Dweghom Dragon Slayers, there's still a lot of versatility here. Four torsos, four legs, four weapons and shields per sprue with a smattering of different head designs should give you a good foundation for variety.
It doesn't seem you need to attach the cloaks. The figures look like they'll work without them- maybe that would be a good base to use them as Blade Chosen?
Speaking of base, I think these are the perfect base models to convert into Chaos Warriors or Chosen. They've got the billowing cloaks, the heavy armor, enclosed helmets... they just need a few horns and spikes!
As promised here's the rules for First Blood, the skirmish version of Conquest-
