The parable of "the sower" may be one of the most well known parables of Jesus. While it's almost always linked to "the gospel about Jesus", according to Jesus, it's about "the gospel according to Jesus" - the good news that the Kingdom of God has drawn near. And this particular parable, in this specific chapter from Matthew's gospel, is an invitation... an invitation to the most important question there is: "what do you want?"
