TL:DW version: blighted maps are fun and remain fairly lucrative even when you don't get a lucky exalt drop. They just drop so much loot that they are well worth running - assuming you can beat them.

Also there's a blooper, where I get distracted and die. This happens a lot.

If you aren't confident you can beat red tier blighted maps, lower tiers are still very worthwhile and instead of using Teal or Crimson oils to make them drop more loot, you can add Clear, Amber or Sepia oils to make them easier to beat.

Tier 15 and 16 ones are particularly good as they can drop golden oils and better fragments.
