Path of Exile - A Guide to Veritania, the Redeemer
202Veritania the Redeemer, one of the Conquerors of the Atlas, is a boss you will fight many times starting from early endgame.

In this video I demonstrate the fight with commentary without trying to make the fight particularly fast.
Veritania is encountered on a tower roof, in an arena where a storm constrains movement.
She has four main skills:
- A default attack where she lobs projectiles in an approx 120 degree arc. This is more dangerous than most default attacks from bosses and can chill and freeze. Dodge this by either tightly circling her, or by ducking in and out of close range. If you are hit, a freeze immunity flask will help.
- The deadly "Vile/Loathsome" machinegun. She utters either the word Vile or Wrath, then fires projectiles at you. When she says a keyword for this attack, stop what you are doing, and start circling Veritania. It's OK to step into the storm to dodge this skill. (I die to this skill once in the video when Veritania doesn't make the usual voice cue).
- Her tornadoes. "Away With You" and "Be Judged" are the verbal cries. When this skill starts, move away using a teleport moveskill if possible. When the tornadoes move away from her, teleport back in and commence attacking.
- Her takeoff-freezing ground-slam combo. This is easier to see than to explain. She usually starts this with the word 'Repugnant!', sometimes 'Revolting', sometimes 'Sloth'.
She has fairly considerable energy shield, so maintaining damage is important. Damage over time excels at this niche.
Only the tankiest of characters should even contemplate 'facetanking' her Vile or Loathsome machinegun, especially since the nerf to Vaal Molten Shell.
