Path of Exile Vulkan - Linux - [Steam Play Proton] - Max settings
Path of Exile 3.10 - VULKAN - Max settings with Steam Play Proton (5.0-7), the Linux compatibility layer from Valve.
The Path of exile 3.10.2 patch now provides a Vulkan renderer so compatibility with Linux Proton is now excellent ! (Proton 5.0-7)
The game runs pretty great at MAX settings (but shadows on high) 1080p 60FPS on an old GTX 970. Frame rate between 60 and 90 FPS (See PC CONFIGURATION and TWEAKS below)
The game is finally butter smooth on Linux ...
A big step for full Proton compatibility :)
REM:
-The current video is just showing "how the game performs on Linux" .. I'm not particularly good at this game :)
- Note that the video is captured with a cheap capture card so the image looks a bit blurry.
DXVK FPS counter was also not working on my config with the Vulkan beta so the counter shown is the small Steam client Frame counter . Sorry for the lack of visibility (due to capture card bad compression with mjpg).
