Aaaaagh!! This was just painful, and a case example of why going for a perfect win ratio in Pokemon is just stupid. This is why I dislike the Smogon-premoted mentality of 'play only to win'. It's just simply not possible. Things like this battle WILL bring you down eventually, and there's very little you can do about it.

That's also why I hate the way Battle Tower works, since it's based on the concept of winning continuously. It's even worse there though, since the AI always tries to manipulate luck in as many ways as possible. Being a good player won't save you from Brightpowder ruining your streak.

I think this over-competitive mentality generally comes from players other genres, like fighters. It those games, if you lose, it is always entirely your fault. (or your opponent's fault for being such a freak at the game, lol)

Moving on from that rant, you may question why I sent Hippowdon out first, knowing it'd have to switch out of Abomasnow. I wanted to take advantage on one fact: when two weather inducers are sent out at the same time, the slower Pokemon gets their weather. This is because the faster Pokemon's ability will activate first, and then be overwritten by the other. I was confident of depriving the opponent of hail because my Hippowdon has a -- Speed nature, very useful in situations like this.

If you look closely, you'll see a weird graphical glitch at 3:02. My trainer appears to command the sandstorm itself to attack the enemy!

Record so far: 2 wins, 2 losses (50%)

Music: Shamar (Town) Day (Sonic Unleashed)

I also used a bit of the E-Rank theme.
