Episode 08: How to Get Famous on NewTube

Welcome back to more Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash!

Today we start the Crimson Squad Arc, which means we get to hang out with Boss Homura!

The Crimson Squad has been through a lot over the years. While the deck has been stacked against them, they've always pulled together in order to survive. So how will they approach the task of surviving PBS?

Well instead of focusing on winning the prize, why not utilize this opportunity to get their name out there! Yep, the Crimson Squad Girls are gonna try and get famous on NewTube.

Yomi's stomach may never be the same again after this episode of Peach Beach Splash.

Additional Thoughts and Notes

The Crimson Squad. One of the most popular teams in Senran Kagura for good reason. They as a group have been through hell and back.

Despite having not played Burst or Deep Crimson, I have a lot of respect for Homura as a leader. It's why I affectionately call her "Boss Homura". She is the kind of person who you would willing take orders from because you know she'll look out for you. Here though, I'm not quite on board with the Crimson Squad's story Arc.

Sure it's funny, but compared to the drama and growth happening even in Hebijo by the first half it's not quite clicking for me. That said, Haruka's little stunt regarding Mirai doesn't help. It's entirely in character for her, but still.

And then there was the thing with Sōji. Really what was the point of that?

Hopefully next time we can re-rail this train and get the Crimson Squad on track to win the P-1 Grand Prix.
