Pikmin - Day 10 - Libra & Analog Computer
We're back and we're about to reach the halfway point in the game! Last time we left Olimar, he needed just one more part to finish off the Forest of Hope. The Radiation Canopy! However, guarding that part was the Armored Cannon Beetle. In the end, Olimar and the Pikmin were triumphant!
Now, we return to the Forest Navel to continue collecting and repairing our ship. Let's see what happens...
DAY 10 - LIBRA & ANALOG COMPUTER
Ok, so this is going to be an intense day. We start by taking out 50 Red Pikmin. You'll want to head south towards the underground lake, however you'll swing a hard right and do a complete U-turn towards a Black Bramble Gate. As soon as you hit the sandy area, you'll encounter male sheargrubs and shearwigs. These are capable of harming your Pikmin, so be careful.
There are also 'Fiery Blowhog's, those little piggies that breathe fire. Thankfully, they can't directly hurt your Red Pikmin. They do however, let out a gust of air occasionally, which might accidentally blow one of your Reds into the lake. Once you're clear, set them to work on the Black Bramble Gate. Return to your base.
Now, we'll take out 25 Yellow Pikmin and 25 Blue Pikmin. Instead of going the same route, you can lead them to the dry area where the #1 Ionium Jet was located and toss them over the wall. If you toggle over to the overhead view, you should see a rolled up bridge that needs building. Ideally, you should try and throw as many as you can at that bridge, to get it started.
Once your Yellow's and Blue's are safely on the otherside, go and reunite with your Red Pikmin. They should be either done or close to being done with the Black Bramble Fence. Once you can proceed, take note of the flame geysers here. They won't hurt your Reds, but they can hurt Olimar and your other Pikmin.
If you hug the wall, you should be fine. If you continue on this path, you should catch up to your other Pikmin by the unbuilt bridge. You can have all your Pikmin work on building the bridge, if you want, to speed things off. Here's where things get a bit more involved...
Once the bridge is built, bring your Yellow and Blue Pikmin. You can finally reach the little island that the Libra is located on. Toss your Yellow Pikmin up to the first ledge. Then have your Blue Pikmin open an air spout that is located in the watery area here. Now Olimar can float up to the ledge with his Yellows.
Toss your Yellows up to the second ledge, where the LIBRA is located. They'll carry it down and will drop it as they go down the ledge. Pay attention here in case any Yellows fall in the water. Have the Yellows and Blues carry it across the bridge, but then have half your Red Pikmin take over for them.
This way, they can carry it safely across the flame jets. Now take your remaining Reds and your Blue and continue down the path in the opposite direction. It should curve to the right a bit. Be careful with the flame jets here. Dismiss your Reds before entering the water and have the Blues carry the ANALOG COMPUTER to dry land.
Just like before, have your Reds take over, so that they can carry it safely passed the flame jets. In fact, there should be no danger for your Reds to carry both parts safely to your ship unsupervised. It should be getting close to the end of the day.
Once both parts are on their way to the ship, use the remaining time to make sure you don't leave any Pikmin behind! That's not cool! Remember that any Pikmin over by the base are ok, even if they're not in their Onions.
Welp, it's time for us to take a break. Join us next time for 'Day 11 - Anti-Dioxin Filter & Gravity Jumper'.
