Note that you might also need to apply the GFWL download, fix and install if needed. Fallout 3 actually played with no issues at 800X600 and all settings as low as possible, at this resolution there was no stuttering but because the View Distance settings were very low, you would occasionally se pop ins. At 1024X768, for the most part the game looked good and played fine, but as soon as the CP hit 80C the FPS would be throttle and your FPS would drop to 20-30 FPS. Note that when this happened you could see some stuttering. Since you can play around with the Settings, and the game was actually playable at 800X600, I will give it a SurfaceProGaming certification.
