Is Sleeping Dogs playable on the Surface Pro? Yes, at 800X600, so it will scale up to full screen, just drop the desktop resolution to anything BUT 1920X1080 (this tip was brought to us by 61Integral and originally suggested by the youtube user zs450 so check out his channel). Slow downs could still happen anytime the engine hits 15 FPS. Do note that these slowdowns happened very rarely and not often enough that it took you out of the experience. The only 'problem' was that the engine actually Scale up to cover the whole screen, and since the resolution we are working with is in 4:3 scale, and it scales it into a 16:9 scale, it will stretch the video. It does not look that bad so I found it extremely playable and it did not bother me. On the other hand, at 720p the game did scale up correctly, but at this resolution, it would hit 80C within a minute an then throttle down so your FPS will hit 10-13 FPS slowing the whole engine down. I now can say this game is SurfaceProGaming Certified :). If you can figure how to make this game not stretch out, let us know.
