Mount and Blade's engine does not seem to give the Surface Pro too much trouble. The FPS do bounce all over the map, but the good news is that even though they went as low as 8 they stay there for less that a second so you don't really notice them. Also note that I am playing it will many settings on high, and with a high resolution so you have a lot of room to lower setting or change the resolution to make it play better if you like. One word of warning, at certain resolutions the Mount and Blade would not display the mouse cursor so navigating the menus or using the slider bars or options became very hard. That said there were usually enough resolutions that did not exhibit this behavior so you should be fine. I will give this one a SurfaceProGaming Certification :).
