Now you can see that developers are taking the PlayStation seriously, and it's sales numbers continue to rise, each and every year. It is becoming very clear that there is only one true hardcore gamers system this generation, and every developer is really taking notice of this. Even the developers that used to bash the PlayStation 3, are now praising it. The future is looking brighter every day for PlayStation owners, and the system still has many years ahead of it.
Surprise Reveal - Gabe Newell, from Valve, comes out onto Sonys stage to reveal the future of their games on the PlayStation 3, and how Steam is going to also be a part of that PS3 experience. Because of steam integration into the PSN, Valve claims that Portal 2 will be the best on PlayStation 3. This is just a small step into working with Valve, and Sony wants to get more involved in Valves games, and their entire steam lineup just might soon follow. Portal 2 comes out for PS3, 360, PC and Mac in 2011.
Under Siege - Under Siege is a strategy game designed by Seed Studios, exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Coming Summer 2011.
Trinity Universe - A great looking anime' style game, made by several different developers. Gust, Idea Factory. and Nippon Ichi Software.combine to make a great gaming experience. This game was imported by NIS America, and hits the PlayStation 3 this July, 2010.
White Knight Chronicles 2 - Level 5 is at it again, creating another great RPG, a sequel to last years White Knight Chronicles. This sequel appears to have better graphics, and the story begins where the other left off. Fans of the first won't be disappointed. Level 5 is well known for all their incredible RPGs.
The Last Guardian - Still in production from the amazing Team ICO, comes the next masterpiece in the ICO trilogy. Be prepared to be completely blown away with this final title in the trilogy. Coming Summer 2011 Exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll - A great looking game by Koei making its way onto the PlayStation 3 Exclusively Winter 2010.
So you see, even the most hardcore 360 developers, now have interest in the PlayStation 3, and are willing to make the PS3 lead platform for their games..This is because the PlayStation 3 was made for the future, and that future is now. Developers need more space on the discs for their games, and more power from the CPU, and they all know the PS3 provides that. They also know that all PS3s that were sold have a HDD in them.
The truth is, now that developers can understand how to make games on the PlayStation 3, they can now take full advantage of what the PS3 has to offer, and they all now realize one thing. And that one thing is, the future of HD/3D games for this generation of consoles, is going to be on the PlayStation 3, because no other system can handle the job.
