PlayStation 3 Exclusives 2011 Edition Pt3 - PS3 Games
0Hello, and welcome back to another PlayStation GameZown yearly E3 montage. For Part 3, we take a look at what makes the PlayStation 3 the incredible machine it is today! I have said it before, and it rings true year after year. The ONLY real hardcore gamers system this generation is the PlayStation 3, and with it's incredible line up of killer titles month after month, support for 3D gaming, and playback of the best movie format available, (BluRay), PlayStation 3 has become unstoppable.
If you want Wii like controls in your games, the PlayStation 3 has you covered with Move. If you want a Kinect like experience, where your body becomes the controller, the PS Eye Toy has you covered. If you want the best, most hardcore and realistic game experiences found today, in breathtaking stereoscopic 3D, look no further as the PlayStation 3 has you covered there as well! With the incredible software line up and awesome accessories made for the PS3, there is no need for any other console in your home this generation.
So with that in mind, let's take a look at some of the incredible games that are coming soon exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console this year, and the beginning of the next.
inFAMOUS 2 - The sequel to one of the coolest games made this generation IMO. In the first inFamous, you were Cole Mcgrath, a man that gained super natural powers during an atomic blast in a city. You have a struggle between light and dark, good and evil. You have the choice to save the entire city, or to completely destroy it. Well, in this incredible sequel Cole is back, the inner struggle of being good or evil has never been so strong, and the choices this time make even more of an impact on the game. Do you help save this city, knowing that your powers might not be enough for what lies ahead? Or do you kill everyone, and destroy everything in order to gain the powers you seek? It's an experience not to be missed, and is found only on the PlayStation 3, out in stores right now.
Motorstorm Apocalypse - Another great example of hardcore games not found anywhere else other than on PS3, is the new Motorstorm! In this new installment of the series, the environment is still your enemy while you race, however, it has never been this dangerous. Now you must race through a city that is being ripped apart by many different things including earthquakes, floods, tornados/hurricanes, buildings collapsing, and entire freeways simply falling apart as you fly down the road at 80MPH. Racing games have never felt this insane, and I'm happy to announce that MotorStorm Apocalypse has crashed onto the PS3 already, and is now available is stores!
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - One of the most loved titles in the PlayStation 2 library, has found it's way over to the PS3. That's right, Sly Cooper is coming back for more action, and humor, and will only be found on what Sly Cooper considers his new home, the PlayStation 3! So be sure to look for your new Sly Cooper adventure, when it hits store shelves in 2012.
StarHawk - WarHawk was an awesome online experience, but, everyone asked to be able to transform, and build their own bases for combat. The game people have asked about for years is finally coming to the PS3. StarHawk brings new exciting gameplay to the table, and shows just how awesome an online only title can be. Get ready, because StarHawk slams onto the PS3 system this Holiday 2011.
White Knight Chronicles 2 - The sequel to last years RPG White Knight Chronicles, is ready to hit the PS3 very soon with a ton of tweaks to the gameplay, and includes the first WKC game remastered on the same disc! So those of you who missed out on the storyline of the first, will not need to go out and buy both games to enjoy the storyline to the second. WKC2 is set to come by the end of the year, 2011.
After looking at these videos I'm sure you now know which system is best for you this generation, and which system brings more content to the table that hardcore gamers want to see. The hardcore gamers are NOT looking for another Dance Dance waggle stick title, or Mario for that matter. They aren't looking for something to shake their booty at, or to play with the cookie monster on Sesame Street. The hardcore gamers aren't looking for the next "on rails" Star Wars game, and they certainly don't care about talking to the system in order to get it to play a music selection.
Hardcore gamers want the hardcore games, and this is what the PlayStation 3 is best at bringing to the table. Sony is dedicated this generation to the hardcore gamers, and after watching some of these videos, I'm sure you will agree.
