PlayStation 3 Exclusives 2011 Edition Pt4 - PS3 Games Finale
3Hello, and welcome back to another PlayStation GameZown yearly E3 montage. For Part 4, we take one last look at some of the most killer titles coming this year, and the beginning of next year. Be prepared for some shocking footage, as this might just be a little too much for those casual gamers out there to handle! There are also a few exciting announcement along the way, so lets get started!
In the last video, Part 3, I mentioned how developers are getting into the PlayStation 3, and PS Move, by delivering exclusive content not found anywhere else. One example is being able to use a light phaser in the upcoming Star Trek game, which will also have the prequel added in as well. Another example is being able to use the PS Move in the new upcoming BioShock Infinite. Not only that, but anyone who buys the new BioShock Infinite on the PlayStation 3, will get the first BioShock included on the same BluRay disc! That's two BioShock games in one package, Only found on the PlayStation 3.
THQ is also offering some exciting things for PlayStation 3 owners, in the new addition to the Saints Row saga. Saints Row: The Third, will include an exclusive game mode, and game content that will only be found on the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
DUST 514 - DUST 514 is another incredible example of what you can soon expect to see on the PlayStation 3, that other consoles simply cannot match. This game will connect to the MMO PC title Eve Online, and will create a huge online war, that will connect PC users to PlayStation 3 users, for the ultimate first person gaming experience!
Another exciting announcement comes from Electronic Arts! As everyone knows, EA has a longstanding partnership with Sony, and has offered great content for many years to the PlayStation platform. In the upcoming SSX, gamers on the PS3 will get to ski down an exclusive stage of Japans beautiful Mount Fuji, which was completely recreated from NASA sattellite data, for the most realistic experience ever!
EA also announced that the new Need for Speed: The RUN will include the normal 8 super cars, plus the Playstation 3 version will include 7 more super cars, including the super sport, and the hennessey Venom GT! Yeah, 15 super cars in total Only found on the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
EA wasn't done there with the shocking surprises. They then announced that Battlefield 3 for the PlayStation 3, will come with Battlefield:1943 bundled on the same BluRay disc! Like BioShock being bundled with BioShock Infinite, there is only one console this generation capable of bringing ths kind of value to the table. That console being none other than the PS3!
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Squaresoft is back with another incredible Final Fantasy adventure, and as everyone knows the home of Final Fantasy this generation is found on the PlayStation 3 console. You can expect Final Fantasy XIII-2 to hit store shelves in 2012, and as before you can also expect the PlayStation 3 version to be the definitive version, bringing you the cleanest FMV and audio that Squaresoft can provide!
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception - The sequel to 2009's GOTY is finally nearing completion! Get ready to set out on another awesome adventure with Nathan Drake, Sully, Cloie, and Elana, to seek out and find new hidden treasure! What dangers await Nathan this time around? We will all find out this November when Uncharted 3 comes out exclusively for the PlayStation 3!
Twisted Metal - A franchise that has been in the hearts of many gamers for nearly two centuries, is finally getting a massive overhaul! After many years of being away, sweet tooth is back for more terror! That's right, the entire gang of Twisted Metal is back for more fun twisted action, blasting it's way Exclusively on the PlayStation 3 this October, and looking crazier than ever before!
