I feel weirdly giddy getting this one to work. Granted, I wouldn't exactly call this a gameplay mod, since it requires a boatload of wirejamming to get the HUD and weapons, but the gameplay itself I thought was fascinating enough to try out in a map or two. It somewhat helps that I don't have to worry about restoratives, since Xonxt heals by using the zappers on an organic enemy.

I'll spare most of the details, but let's just say part of the wirejam process to get the HUD and zappers involve triggering a point entity that gives you both of them. You can't actually pick up any item_suits at all, acting more as props than something the player can pick up. Certainly stumped me for a bit trying to learn how the internals work for a good time.

But yeah, the mapset. Try, Try Again. It's tricky to pick a good mapset to run with PoV, mainly 'cause you're not in alliance with Black Mesa staff. Barneys'll draw their sidearms on sight, scientists'll run away, it's generally preferred to run a mapset that doesn't require NPCs to trigger something for you. This mapset works alright in that regard. Weird that the agrunts are hostile to you, but I guess by default, they're configured to unlike fellow islaves that I know are atleast friendly to you by default.
