69Here's something you probably don't encunter very often but can be pretty potent: The Trick Room and Power Trick combo with Shuckle. In this case, Bronzong uses Trick Room to reverse the order of turns, then Shuckle uses Power Trick to switch its Defense and Attack. So now we have a superstrong physical Shuckle who can go first but has a very weak physical Defense. (An oversight I had here is that Shuckle's Special Attack and Special Defense remain the same. I forgot about that.)
This strategy couldn't really get off the ground though, as I knew what Bronzong and Shuckle were up to and focused attacks on Bronzong. This leaves Shuckle exposed to use Power Trick. Unfortunately, Protect sometimes threw me off, and I was left with Lucario against Camerupt, Shuckle, and Blissey. Lucario held up surprisingly long against these three, and as Lucario also knows Protect, and so do Camerupt and Shuckle, it became a guessing game as to who would use Protect and when. I failed to correctly guess Shuckle using Protect on that last turn, which cost me the match.
I used Plusle, Minun, Masquerain, and Lucario. My opponent used Bronzong, Shuckle, Camerupt, and Blissey.
