After beating the Pastoria Gym, I chase down a Team Galactic Grunt down to Valor Lakefront, and then Cynthia shows up and gives me the Secret Medicine that can help cure the Psyduck blocking Route 210, and she requests me to visit her grandmother, the elder of Celestic Town, which is the next town to visit.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

After talking to the Team Galactic Grunt at Pastoria City, he will make a run for it, chase that guy down, and his final stop is at Valor Lakefront, and with no other choice, he will battle you, and I think this is the only Team Galactic Grunt in the game that does not use the Galactic battlefield when you fight him, instead it just uses the normal battlefield.
After his defeat, Cynthia shows up and gives me the Secret Medicine, which I was sure used to be called the Secret Potion in Gold & Silver, and even in Diamond & Pearl, and this was what you had to use to get the Psyduck to move.
Route 210 is the first place where fog covers the area, this is in the northern part, and when you enter battle, it causes the effect of Misty Terrain, so it prevents status conditions to grounded Pokémon and weakens Dragon-type moves, in the original games, fog was a weather effect that reduces the accuracy of moves, and it weakens moves like Solar Beam, as well as healing moves like Morning Sun and Moonlight, but it does double the power of Weather Ball, the fog was the one reason why I didn't like Courtyard Colosseum in Pokémon Battle Revolution, because there was a chance fog happened there.
There are a bunch of Ninja Boys, who are hidden and will come out when you approach where they are hiding, and there are some Ace Trainers, who have some really strong Pokémon, the two Ace Trainers with Raichu and Gyarados give a lot of money, and you can re-match them with the Vs. Seeker to grind money if you have an Amulet Coin equipped, and as for the Trainers you want to battle, there is a female Ace Trainer with a Grotle, she is worth fighting if you started with Chimchar, the Ace Trainer right after that Double Battle has a Mothim, in Platinum he would have had a Scyther and Probopass.
There are no new encounters on Route 210, technically there is Noctowl and Machoke, I don't recommend Noctowl, as I didn't recommend Hoothoot back then, even though it could get Air Slash early on, and it did make a decent temporary Pokémon, and with Machoke, it can be traded to evolve into Machamp to give you a good Fighting-type Pokémon to add to your team, and it has a high Attack stat.
There are some interesting items you can pick up on Route 210, around the tall grass where the Ninaj Boys are, there are some hidden items you can pick up, one item you can find is a Smoke Ball, you can equip that to a slower Pokémon so that you can run away from battles against wild Pokémon.
When you arrive at Celestic Town, there is no PokéMart there, instead there is a shop in the northwestern part of town, and there is a man you can talk to that gives you certain items, in the morning, he gives you Choice Specs, in the daytime, he gives you Black Glasses, and at night, he gives you Wise Glasses. As for effects, Black Glasses powers up Dark-type moves by 20%, Wise Glasses boosts Special Attack by 10%, so it's a decent item to equip to your Special Attackers, and the Choice Specs boosts your Special Attack by 50%, but it locks you into using the first move you picked unless you switch out.
