What’s up everyone. It’s Tim from TimPlaysAGame here with part two of my Pokémon GO log. In my last video I was at Level 7 and had caught a handful of Pokémon. Since then I am happy to say that I have caught many new Pokémon and have reached Level 15. A friend of mine suggested evolving Pokémon you see frequently to gain experience faster. This has helped immensely with reaching level 15 and I recommend it to anyone trying to level up.
After reaching level 10, I began getting Great Balls, which has been extremely helpful capturing stronger Pokémon. I also received Razz Berries, which make it easier to catch Pokémon and keep them from running away. Because of these items and leveling up, I have begun to capture and train stronger Pokémon. One trick I use now to better my chances of catching a Pokémon is to throw a Curveball. A Curveball can be thrown by simply making a spiral motion on the touch screen with your finger touching the Pokéball. When it begins to sparkle, flick it to the left or right. As the name implies, the ball will curve and hit the Pokémon. Done effectively will net you an extra 100 experience points.
I now have a stronger team of Pokémon, including a Pidgeot, a Golduck, a Tentacruel, a Scyther, a stronger Venomoth, a Tangela, a Jolteon, a Pinsir which had eluded me earlier. I have also captured a Dratini and a Pikachu which were satisfying to find. My Pokedex is coming along nicely as I have already captured more than 50 different Pokémon. I am grateful that I have been able to do this even though the device I am currently using does not have a GPS location function.
I have ordered an upgraded phone that will work better with Pokémon GO, and I hope to do more with this app including visiting more Pokestops, hatching eggs, and training and battling at gyms. I will have my new phone by the next time I post the next installment in this series. So until then, this is Tim from TimPlaysAGame signing off. Good night.
