5The battle with Candice is the one I'm the most proud of. This is also the only battle where I used my X-Defends. Candice's Sneasel is the perfect lead because it will only use Ice Shard on Torterra. With X-Defends, those will only do little damage. I also used a X-Speed to outspeed Froslass and 3 X-Attacks to OHKO all Candice's entire team. I also used a Moo Moo Milk before Sneasel is OHKO'd by Earthquake. Abomasnow falls to Return, Piloswine to Razor Leaf and Froslass to Crunch. Hail can be dangerous, but I calculated it so that Torterra barely survives the battle.
Then I left the gym and Snowpoint City and went back to Lake Acuity. Now I can use Rock Climb to reach the lake. There is a conversation between my rival and Jupiter. I flew to Veilstone next and picked up a Rare Candy. After talking to the Grunt, Looker appears with a key. I splitted the segment up before entering the warehouse.
