This part I take on Lavaridge Gym, it's easy if you started off with Mudkip as the Gym uses Fire type Pokémon. If you didn't start with Mudkip, the best way is to catch a Wingull and evolve it into Pelipper or catch a Rock type like Geodude and evolve it into Graveler to make your battle easy. The Gym Leader Flannery is tough, and most of the Trainers in this gym use Numel and Slugma.
