Going over each of the Elite Four, first up is Will, a Psychic-type use, he does use Xatu in this battle which now has Drill Peck, but he has included other Pokémon, he has some high Special Defense Pokémon like Mantine and Chansey, and he has Flareon, which has Shadow Ball to deal with Ghost-types, and his Electabuzz has good coverage and a King's Rock to flinch the opponent. After that is Koga, the user of Poison-type Pokémon, and his strategy is using Toxic and Double Team to stall your team out, some of his Pokémon have Confuse Ray, and his Ariados and Venomoth can use Baton Pass to give the evasion boosts to his other Pokémon. After that is Bruno, the user of Fighting-type Pokémon, and he has some hard hitters, Machamp has Fissure, and it can use the Quick Claw to strike first, he's also got some powerhouses like Granbull and Ursaring which can take on many Pokémon of different types. The fourth opponent is Karen, a Dark-type user, her team have status moves like Swagger, Screech, Mean Look, Perish Song, Psych Up, and many others, she has some defensive Pokémon like Umbreon, Slowbro, and Misdreavus.
Last opponent in the Elite Four is Lance, he is even harder as he has a well rounded team, and all of his Pokémon know Hyper Beam and have high Attack, like Dragonite and Tyranitar can deal massive damage with it. He has the King's Rock on Aerodactyl to flinch your Pokémon, Feraligatr has Earthquake to handle Electric-types, Kangaskhan is a very powerful Hyper Beam user as it does get STAB from it, and Arcanine can use ExtremeSpeed to finish off weakened opponents.
After beating the Elite Four, if you have any Game Boy game connected, you can use the Move Reminder to teach them an attack that a Pokémon learns at an earlier level, and you mustn't have Rental Pokémon in order to use it, but it cannot be done on the Nintendo Switch Online version as you cannot use any of the Game Boy games to connect with this game.
