For Pokémon Day, we get a mass outbreak event featuring Pokémon that resemble Poké Balls, and the featured Pokémon are Voltorb and Foongus. You can also get Hisuian Voltorb in outbreaks, and for the first time ever, you can capture Hisuian Voltorb in any type of Poké Ball, because before then, Hisuian Voltorb could only be obtained in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so every Hisuian Voltorb that was caught in that game was in a Strange Ball, and that couldn't even be passed on by breeding, which meant all of them were in normal Poké Balls.
Hisuian Voltorb was in Pokémon GO where it can be caught in a Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Premier Ball, but for this event, you can get Hisuian Voltorb in any type of Poké Ball. There is increased Shiny odds for this event, it is a 0.5% chance, and you can get some TM Materials from those Pokémon, for Voltorb, you can use them for TMs like Electro Ball, Light Screen, and Eerie Impulse, and for Foongus, you can get TMs for Sludge Bomb and Solar Beam.
As there were no Tera Raid Events that happened during that time, I can see them announcing something for Pokémon Day, as we do have a Pokémon Presents coming soon, which should give us some news on upcoming events in this game, and as we did recently get the Indigo Disk update in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, I am not expecting a main series game to happen this year, so I would mostly expect to see a spin-off game happen, like a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, because the last one we had was four years ago, and it was a remake of the first games in the series. Another prediction for the Pokémon Presents that I want to see is Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow coming to Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online, but I am not sure if it will be compatible with the Pokémon Stadium games, which are on Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online, but I am not sure if they will make those games compatible with Pokémon HOME, because when Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow came to the Virtual Console on the 3DS eShop, you can bring Pokémon from those games into Pokémon Bank and bring them into Pokémon Sun & Moon. We'll see what happens when the Pokémon Presents happens, but at least we got this outbreak event which not only gave us the first time we can get Hisuian Voltorb outside of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, without having to require Pokémon HOME to bring them over.
