Pokemon Stadium - Trying to Clear Round 2 Elite 4 + Rival with Red's HGSS Team Part 1 of 4
0Note: I used my Yellow Cartridge Data to make the Rival have his Round 2 Lineup from the GB game with Jolteon as his Eevee evolution. (The Hardest one of the 3 to face off with Red's Theme Team)

My Team's current moves for this Part of the grind:
Pikachu with Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Seismic Toss, and Surf
Venusaur with Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Toxic, and Leech Seed
Charizard with Flamethrower, Substitute, Earthquake, and Slash
Blastoise with Surf, Counter, Earthquake, and Substitute
Snorlax with Body Slame, Self-destruct, Rock Slide, and Earthquake
Lapras with Blizzard, Body Slam, Psychic, and Thunderbolt
After the big victory against the Psychic Trainer in Round 2 Poke Cup Master Ball that took about 5 hours worth of battles to clear it, it is now time to try the next challenge I wanted to try and complete. The challenge is defeating the Round 2 Elite 4 and Rival's Jolteon Lineup while using Red's HGSS lineup. (Mostly my Pokemon Yellow Team) Like Poke Cup, I committed to using at least half of the team from my Yellow Data while cycling through many moves to try to get close at winning this Set. I had some idea of what to use due to my past experience with playing against their Round 2 Mons, but they were not the best movesets. I used the Venusaur from my Red File because it has Sleep Powder that was specifically meant for the Snorlax of Lance. Funny that my first attempt was almost a success at clearing the Elite 4 until Lance's Lapras ended me once more like it did from Round 1 and with a worse moveset this time around for an added insult. Afterwards, it was just trial and error with Lorelei and Bruno's team and some content with losing to them. After seeing how useless Charizard was for Bruno, I figured out the best 3 Mons to pick against him along with the 3 to face off Lorelei. Enjoy the attempts.
