I seem to be coming up against a lot of Legendary Pokémon users, which does get annoying over time, but at least this isn't like the days of Pokémon Battle Revolution where I would keep going up against them. I guess this is what happens when the current season of Ranked Battles allow only one restricted Legendary Pokémon, but I am not doing Ranked Battles, and I have even come across a full team of restricted Legendary Pokémon.
This is not a full Shiny Pokémon team, as the Lapras was not a Shiny Pokémon, but my opponent's team were based around some of the most used Pokémon in Double Battles, there is Lapras and its Gigantamax form, Raichu is one of few Pokémon to get Lightning Rod for its Ability, and I believe it is the most popular user of Lightning Rod, although I don't come across Raichu in my online battles that often, so I am guessing this Raichu had Lightning Rod, which could be why my opponent led with him along with Lapras. Metagross is another Pokémon that has seen a lot of use in Double Battles, as it is a good user of the Weakness Policy, and it is a very powerful Dynamax user, specially with both Max Steelspike and Max Quake coming from both Iron Head and Stomping Tantrum, this one had Earthquake, and while this is a classic combo of having Earthquake and Protect, I prefer Stomping Tantrum in Double Battles between the Ground-type moves on Metagross, and it was good seeing Shiny Yveltal, because fun fact, I have a Shiny Yveltal myself in this game which I have obtained from Dynamax Adventures, but I will very likely never use it online because I want to try and not use Legendary Pokémon that are in the Uber tier in the competitive scene, while I have used some Legendary Pokémon in online battles, none of them have been Uber, most of which are in the lower tiers.
While I do like leading with Thievul against any Special Attackers with this team, and having Centiskorch use G-Max Centiferno if I am up against a resilient opponent, like Gigantamax Lapras after it has used G-Max Resonance. Even though White Smoke is better for Double Battles, I didn't realize my Centiskorch still had Flash Fire, which is the Ability I prefer having when using Centiskorch, but then again this is a Pokémon that isn't used often in online battles, so it was at least good to test out Gigantamax Centiskorch on a Double Battle team.
I also test out Wigglytuff for this online battle, and she was really tough to use because of how common Steel-type Pokémon were in Double Battles, and this one has a Choice Specs to boost her Special moves, and I went with Hyper Voice and Dazzling Gleam for her main moves, Flamethrower for a single target move to deal super effective damage to Steel-type opponents, and Icy Wind is there to lower the targets' Speed, and Wigglytuff isn't really that fast of a Pokémon, but she does have a lot of HP. Wigglytuff isn't an easy Pokémon to fit in on a team, because this Pokémon is outclassed by better Fairy-type Pokémon, but I decided to try using one, as this team does have a bunch of Pokémon of many different types, it is mostly to balance out the team with different types of Pokémon.
