I used: Ninetales, Venusaur, Rhyperior, and Heliolisk
My Opponent used: Runerigus, Thievul, Corviknight, and Inteleon
Stadium: Turrfield
Battle BGM: Hop

I don't know if this is meant to be a story team or something, because my opponent does have some unusual team choices, like Eldegoss, Thievul, and Runerigus, and he did have a Pikachu on the team as well, but neither Pikachu or Eldegoss were picked for this fight, so I wouldn't know if that was a Gigantamax Pikachu or not. While Corviknight is a popular Pokémon to use in the main story, it is a good Pokémon in the competitive scene, as Corviknight's type combination is really good defensively, but other than that, my opponent did do really well despite not being the most experienced in online battles.
When going up against that kind of opponent, I try to take it a bit easy on them, so in some cases, there can be times where I would have easily taken out one of their Pokémon, but instead use a different move or switch out, this is so I can give them a chance to battle. While I did fight a Runergius in a previous online battle, this is a Pokémon that isn't commonly used, but then again Thievul isn't something that sees a lot of use due to there being better options, and I have heard about some skilled players making good use of Thievul, and it does show that any Pokémon can do very well in battle. I have looked into Inteleon's viability now that its Hidden Ability is now available, and while Torrent is preferred, the best strategy for an Inteleon with Sniper is having Focus Energy to boost its critical hit rate, and having it hold a Scope Lens, but the only move that Inteleon can learn with a high critical hit rate is its signature Snipe Shot, and the problem with Focus Energy is that Inteleon is not that defensive, so it is left open to an attack on the turn it uses Focus Energy, unless the opponent uses a stat boosting move like Swords Dance or Nasty Plot on that turn.
I believe this is the first battle where I give my Venusaur a chance to fight, he has Chlorophyll for his Ability, and it is good that Venusaur can get Earth Power in his game to provide type coverage against Fire, Poison, and Steel-type Pokémon, and Venusaur can get Weather Ball in this game, and that is a dangerous move against any Steel-type Pokémon that try to wall Venusaur, specially when used in a sun team. While he does have Solar Beam, I have checked Pikalytics to see what the most popular moves for Venusaur are in Double Battles, and there aren't many that use Solar Beam, the most common Grass-types used on were Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, and Energy Ball, so I guess there are secondary Grass-type moves, but when using Venusaur in a sun team, I find that Solar Beam is a good move to have if you have sun support, specially from Ninetales with Drought. At least I managed to put a weather team to good use in this set of battles, and I do wonder when the upcoming DLC comes out for Sword & Shield, if Gigantamax Venusaur will end up being better than Dynamax Venusaur, because all the Kanto starters get moves that deal 1/6 damage, but based on their type, so it would have the same effect as Gigantamax Charizard's G-Max Wildfire, but in Venusaur's case, it would damage non-Grass-types for damage 1/6 of their maximum HP.
