This week, I will be trading Cutiefly through Surprise Trade, the Bug/Fairy-type Pokémon that originated from Generation 7. I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and I went with the Hidden Ability of Sweet Veil, because while it is a helpful Ability in preventing Cutiefly or its allies from falling asleep when it is on the field. I went with Timid for the Nature, as Cutiefly and its evolved form Ribombee have a high Speed stat and have good Special Attack, at least it is one of the faster Gen 7 Pokémon, which introduced a lot of Pokémon with very low Speed.
The Egg Moves it can get are Moonblast, Sticky Web, and Aromatic Mist, only three moves it can get, I will list which parents in the Bug and Fairy Egg Groups that can learn those moves.
Aromatic Mist: Aromatisse
Moonblast: Clefairy, Clefable, Whimsicott, Spritzee, Aromatisse
Sticky Web: Shuckle, Galvantula, Slurpuff, Grubbin, Charjabug, Vikavolt

If it is only three Egg Moves, Cutiefly does learn some good Egg Moves, Moonblast and Sticky Web are some moves you really want to have on it. It does get Absorb and Fairy Wind for its starting moves, and for other moves it can learn through level up, it can get Stun Spore, Sweet Scent, Draining Kiss, Struggle Bug, Aromatherapy, Switcheroo, Dazzling Gleam, Bug Buzz, and Quiver Dance. When it evolves into Ribombee at Level 25, it will learn Pollen Puff upon evolution, this move used to be Ribombee's signature move, but it is now a TR in this game.
Next is TMs and TRs, and I will be going over what Ribombee can learn, as there are some that Cutiefly cannot learn, for TMs, it can learn Magical Leaf, Solar Beam, Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Charm, Swift, Imprison, Helping Hand, Fake Tears, U-turn, Speed Swap, Wonder Room, Magic Room, and Acrobatics, and for TRs, it can learn Psychic, Leech Life, Baton Pass, Trick, Skill Swap, Calm Mind, Energy Ball, Ally Switch, and Play Rough, and for Tutor moves, it can learn Dual Wingbeat.
While it is not that commonly used in online battles, Ribombee is the fastest Sticky Web user in the game, and it does get access to Stun Spore to paralyze its opponents. It can make good use of Quiver Dance, along with Bug Buzz and Moonblast to deal damage to its opponents, and it can even use Baton Pass to give the boosts from Quiver Dance to its teammates. It is not good at taking hits, so most sets use a Focus Sash to ensure Ribombee can take at least one hit while setting up Quiver Dance or Sticky Web based on the set used. It can use its Speed to set up Light Screen and Reflect while it is holding a Light Clay, but there are better Pokémon that can set up screens, it isn't the most easy Pokémon to fit onto a team, as Galvantula is usually the better Sticky Web user, and there are a lot of Pokémon that can set up screens.
In Double Battles, Ribombee can learn Speed Swap, and it is one of the faster users of that move, I did try out a Speed Swap Ribombee in a Double Battle team, I used it along with Stakataka and used Speed Swap on it to allow it to outspeed many things. Speed Swap Ribombee pairs well with slow, powerful attackers, like Rhyperior, to allow them to sweep opponents. Ribombee can work as a supporter, it can use Ally Switch, Helping Hand, and Fake Tears, which can help its teammates, it can use Struggle Bug to lower the opposing side's Special Attack, but it is outclassed by many other Pokémon. As a Speed Swap user, it is outclassed by Pheromosa, which has higher Speed than Ribombee, and some other Pokémon that can learn it are Raichu and Alakazam, and even Bronzong can put that to good use if paired up with a Pokémon with high Speed like Zacian, and when it has moves like Rock Slide and Iron Head to flinch opponents.
It does have a good type combo of Bug/Fairy, despite being weak to many types, because most Bug-types tend to be weak to a lot of types, like Fire and Rock, and while Ribombee does have a good Speed and Special Attack stat, its low defensive stats are what hold it back in battle, it is the fastest Sticky Web user, which is at least something, and it does get access to some nice support moves for Double Battles, but it is outclassed by better options.
