I play through Classic Mode with Daisy, the Echo Fighter to Peach, and she isn't much different in terms of moves, the only notable difference is Daisy using a Blue Toad, while Peach uses a regular Toad. I randomize a list to decide my next characters, and the playlist will display the fighters in order of how they are displayed on the roster, and if the Echo Fighters were placed in order of reveal, Daisy would be placed between Inkling and Ridley. Daisy's Classic Mode route is Sarasaland Represent!, and her opponents on this route are princesses, much like Daisy herself.
To unlock Daisy, there are many different ways, one of them is through Vs. Matches, where Daisy is the 28th character to be unlocked, and she is the 5th character unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Fox or anyone in his unlock tree after Falco.
In Round 1, you fight against Zelda, and the stage is Temple, in Round 2, your opponent is Lucina, and you fight her on Castle Siege. In Round 3, your opponent is Rosalina & Luma, and the stage is Mario Gaalxy, it's strange how Rosalina is included as an opponent, as she isn't even a princess, nor was she ever referred to as one in the Mario series. In Round 4, you fight against female Corrin, and the stage is Coliseum, in Round 5, you fight a Horde Battle against six Mii Fighters, two Mii Brawlers, two Mii Swordfighters, and two Mii Gunners, you fight them on Peach's Castle, the Mii Fighters use outfits based on different female characters. In Round 6, you fight against Peach, and the stage for that match is Princess Peach's Castle, and items do not appear.
Next is the Bonus Stage, and at the end is a fight against Master Hand, if you are playing on Intensity 7.0 or higher, you fight against Crazy Hand as well.
After beating Classic Mode, the credits roll, and the music is Mario Tennis / Mario Golf, and you earn the Fighter Spirit for Daisy if you completed Classic Mode with her for the first time.
