I am playing as Wario for this Classic Mode route, and what I do is I randomize a list to decide my next characters, my playlist will display the fighters in order of how they are displayed on the roster, and at the time, I have 10 characters remaining after my set of characters. Wario's Classic Mode route is I'm-a Gonna Win!, which is a line he says in Mario Kart 64, in Japanese, the route is called My Super Strength is Number One, which makes more sense with what Wario's Classic Mode route is about, Wario's opponents are heavyweight characters that use brute strength and hard-hitting attacks, much like Wario himself.
To unlock Wario, there are many different ways, one of them is Vs. Matches, where Wario is the 24th character to be unlocked, and he is the 7th character unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Samus or anyone in her unlock tree after Cloud.
In Round 1, you fight against Ganondorf, and the stage you fight him on is Coliseum, in Round 2, you go up against Charizard, and the stage is Pokémon Stadium 2. In Round 3, you fight Ike, and the stage is Arena Ferox, in Round 4, you fight against King Dedede on Fountain of Dreams, in Round 5, your opponent is King K. Rool, and the stage is Kongo Falls, and in Round 6, you fight against Incineroar of Pokémon Stadium, and items are turned off for that fight.
Next up is the Bonus Stage, and at the end, you fight against Master Hand, and if you are playing on Intensity 7.0 or higher, you have to fight against Crazy Hand as well.
After that, the credits will roll, and the music is Ruins - Wario Land: Shake It!, which in Europe is called Wario Land: The Shake Dimension, and you earn the Fighter Spirit for Wario in his WarioWare outfit if you completed Classic Mode with him for the first time, his classic outfit can be obtained through the shop, and there is a Spirit for Wario-Man. Despite Wario's Classic Mode route being against heavyweight characters with hard hitting moves, Bowser and Donkey Kong do not show up against opponents for some reason, and they are in the top 3, Bowser being the heaviest, Donkey Kong is tied with King Dedede for the 3rd, and King K. Rool is placed 2nd heaviest character.
