I chose the Pokémon for this week, and I have decided that it will be Pyukumuku, this unusual Pokémon was introduced in Sun & Moon, and it remains a very unusual Pokémon out of all of them we have so far. If you are wondering what happened in the beginning, the sound was out of sync for 30 seconds, and it went back to normal.
As usual, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, but I did have a Pyukumuku with 31 IVs in all 6 stats and a Shiny Ditto, so that allowed me to get Pyukumuku with 31 IVs in 5 stats, and on rare occasions, 6 stats. Pyukumuku does not need Attack, Special Attack, or Speed to be 31 IVs, because it is very slow and it can't learn any direct attacking moves. These Pyukumuku have an Impish Nature, and most of them have the Hidden Ability of Unaware. Any Nature that boosts Defense or Special Defense, like Bold or Calm, are suitable Natures for Pyukumuku, because it is never going to attack directly, this Pokémon can't learn any damaging moves.
Pyukumuku can learn 4 Egg Moves, those being Spite, Mirror Coat, Tickle, and Swagger, I will list which parents in the Water 1 Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Mirror Coat: Corsola, G-Corsola, Dewpider, Araquanid, Cursola
Spite: G-Corsola, Cursola
Swagger: Politoed, Slowking, G-Slowking, Sealeo, Walrein, Inkay, Malamar
Tickle: Lapras, Omanyte, Omastar, Marill, Azumarill, Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo, Feebas, Milotic (Requires Chain Breeding)

Tickle is a strange move to get on Pyukumuku, because all of its options have to be chain bred to get those moves, what I did was that I had a Whimsicott with Tickle, which I passed onto a Marill, and bred it to get that move on Pyukumuku.
Pyukumuku is not a Pokémon you will want to use when going through the main story, because it can't learn any direct attacking move, Counter and Mirror Coat are its only moves that deal damage, but they are not direct attacking moves. For its level up moves, it can get Baton Pass, Harden, Helping Hand, Taunt, Safeguard, Counter, Purify, Curse, Gastro Acid, Pain Split, Recover, Soak, Toxic, and Memento, and if you are wondering, Purify is Pyukumuku's signature move, this move heals the target's status condition, and it will heal Pyukumuku's HP by 25% of its maximum HP, this is a very bad move, because why would you heal your opponent's status condition just to restore your own HP? Pyukumuku already gets Recover and Pain Split, and as for healing your own status conditions, you should have a Pokémon with Aromatherapy on your team.
As Pyukumuku cannot learn any attacking moves through TMs and TRs, it is mainly a Pokémon that uses status moves, for TMs, it can learn Screech, Rest, Light Screen, Reflect, Protect, Attract, Rain Dance, and Hail, and for TRs, it can learn Substitute, Endure, Sleep Talk, and Venom Drench, and for moves Pyukumuku can only get in Gen 7, it can learn Double Team, Quash, Psych Up, Confide, Block, and Recycle, but there is no way to get those moves on Pyukumuku in this game, it has to be transferred from Gen 7 over to this game in order to have those moves.
For online battles, Unaware is the better Ability, Innards Out can be interesting, because if Pyukumuku is knocked out by an attack, the attacker will lose HP equal to Pyukumuku's remaining HP before fainting. With Unaware, Pyukumuku can shrug off attacks, even it is boosted by Swords Dance or Nasty Plot, but Quagsire is the preferred choice, as Quagsire can use Scald to deal damage.
Pyukumuku's movepool is very limited, but at least it is better than Wobbuffet's movepool, Soak and Toxic is a combo it can use to inflict poison on even Steel and Poison-type opponents, Recover is a healing move, and its fourth move is usually Counter or Mirror Coat so it is not Taunt bait. For held item, Pyukumuku tends to use a Rocky Helmet so opponents take damage if they use a contact move, or a Kee Berry so Pyukumuku's Defense will be boosted if hit by a Physical Attack.
This Pokémon is very hard to make a creative set over if it cannot learn any damaging moves, so Pyukumuku has no viability in Double Battles, but in Single Battles, it can take hits well and it can use Soak to change its opponent's type to Water so they won't get STAB on their main attack, and it does work on Water-type Pokémon that are dual-typed, like Gyarados, because if Soak is used, Gyarados will lose the Flying-type and become a pure Water-type. The effects of Soak will not work on Cinderace, as its Libero will change its type, losing the effect of Soak.
Even though I am not a fan of Pyukumuku as a Pokémon, it was at least a good way to get a lot of money in Sun & Moon where you can chuck Pyukumuku into the sea, I don't know if there is anyone that likes Pyukumuku as a Pokémon, or even has Pyukumuku as their favourite Pokémon, but I am not a fan of this Pokémon.
