After a challenging adventure through Snowslide Slope, the next place is Tunnel to the Top, and it is a winding cave which feels like a labyrinth full of Zubat, but it does have some other Pokémon, like Carbink and a few Dragon-type Pokémon, and some good items as well.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Tunnel to the Top feels like a maze, and there are a lot of winding paths, but you can get some items at dead ends, and there are some new encounters, and what better Pokémon to start the new encounters with than Zubat. While it wasn't in the Galar Dex at first, Zubat is back once again, and you can find its evolved form Golbat in the tunnel as well. It does require friendship to evolve Golbat into Crobat, but once you do, you get a speedy Poison/Flying-type Pokémon. Crobat learns a good variety of moves, like Cross Poison and Leech Life, and some nice status moves like Toxic and Confuse Ray, and can be taught Brave Bird and U-turn through TMs and TRs, so its a good option for a speedy Pokémon.
Next is Carbink, this Pokémon is more suited for Defense, it can use Reflect and Light Screen to decrease damage from opponent's attacks, it can use Stealth Rock when against a full team, and while it isn't an attacker, it can be taught Calm Mind and some nice Special moves like Power Gem and Moonblast, but other than that, I wouldn't say that Carbink is a Pokémon you would add to your team.
Now for the version exclusives, and in Sword, you can find Bagon, and you can even find its final evolved form Salamence as an overworld encounter deeper into the cave. Salamence is a Pokémon that can be used as a mixed attacker, as it has good offensive stats, and it can learn a variety of moves, like Outrage, Flamethrower, Rock Slide, Hydro Pump, Brick Break, Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, Hurricane, and a few others. If you want to use a Pokémon from the Crown Tundra, I recommend Salamence if you can catch one of them, and by the way, you can't find wild Shelgon, so if you want one, you have to evolve it from a Bagon.
In Shield, you can find Gible, and you can find its final evolved form Garchomp as an overworld encounter. There is no wild Gabite, so you have to evolve a Gible in order to get Gabite. While it is a powerful Physical Attacker with good Speed, Garchomp is considered one of the best competitive Pokémon throughout the generations, it was so good it even got banned back in Gen 4, but then again Salamence got banned later in the same generation. Garchomp learns some good Physical moves, like Crunch, Dragon Claw, and Dual Chop for level up moves, and you will need to use TMs and TRs to get moves like Outrage, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Poison Jab, and Iron Head for it. For Shield players that are looking for a good team members, Garchomp is a great Pokémon to add to your team.
For other Pokémon, you can find Clefairy, Snorunt, and Audino are random encounters, while Clefable, Froslass, and Druddigon are special overworld encounters. While the cave might seem confusing, it is worth your time to explore every part of it, as you can get some useful items, like the Dragon Fang, Heavy-Duty Boots, Magmarizer, and a few other items.
Then we get to the Path of the Peak, there are no new encounters, but the most common Pokémon you can find there is Frosmoth, but you can find its pre-evolved form Snom in some weather, but for some reason, Snom is rarer than Frosmoth at this area. At least there is your place to catch a Frosmoth for that in-game trade in Wyndon for a Duraludon. Frosmoth isn't the only Pokémon you can find there, you can also encounter Druddigon, Absol, and Altaria as overworld encounters depending on the weather, and in intense sun, you can find Salamence or Garchomp depending on your version.
