For this week's Super Mario Bros. 35, or at the time of recording this video, there is a special event, and the courses that appear are the start and end of Worlds 1 to 4, so we get 1-1, 1-4, 2-1, 2-4, 3-1, 3-4, 4-1, and 4-4. The name of this Special Battle Event is "Showdown! Bowser's Castle Battle", as we get courses with Bowser in them, but at least it is the beginning worlds.
Worlds 3-1 and 4-1 can be very tricky for the kind of enemies that show up, 3-1 is the first course with Hammer Bros. in them, and 4-1 has the dreaded Lakitu, I am sure that every Super Mario Bros. 35 player hates Lakitu because of how annoying it is to deal with.
Another thing that I show is that I have made it to Level 99 in Super Mario Bros. 35, and if you level up after 99, you become Level 1★, much like in Tetris 99, and I know that Tetris 99 does add the star after you level up after Level 99, but I find Super Mario Bros. 35 easier to level up than Tetris 99.
I wonder if future Special Battle Events will ever have World 7 or 8 appear, as they are much harder than the starting courses, because a lot of the World 8 courses have some really difficult platforming levels, and while 4-4 has you pick the correct path, 7-4 and 8-4 even do that as well, but I have figured out the path through 4-4, and the other two are much harder, specially 8-4 as it is a very challenging course.
