I have arrived at Stow-on-Side, which is where the upcoming Gym awaits, but first I battle against Hop, who has lost all confidence as a Trainer since his battle with Bede, we'll see if that battle with give him a confidence boost.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Before advancing into the game, I show you how to evolve Galarian Yamask, it needs to have taken 49 or more damage in one battle, do not heal it, instead just go to Dusty Bowl in the Wild Area and go under the stone sculpture, that will trigger its evolution into Runerigus. Unlike its Unovan counterpart Cofagrigus, Runerigus is more of a Physical attacker, and it will learn Shadow Claw upon evolution. It also has a good Physical movepool, including Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Body Press, this is a good Pokémon to add to your team, but the evolution method can get confusing.
Since I didn't finish the Route 6 encounters due to description space, this will continue on, Skorupi is a defensive Poison/Bug-type that becomes Poison/Dark when evolved into Drapion. I recommend Sniper because of the likelihood of critical hits from moves like Night Slash and Cross Poison, along with a Scope Lens or Razor Claw. Drapion has really good Defense, and it can relearn the Elemental Fangs, and has a wide movepool that consists of Earthquake, Leech Life, Brick Break, and many others. Despite evolving at Level 40, Drapion is a solid option.
Next is Hippopotas, which will evolve into Hippowdon at Level 34. Hippowdon can relearn the Elemental Fangs, and has a really good Physical movepool of Earthquake, Crunch, Stone Edge, Superpower, Heavy Slam, and Body Press. Its Sand Stream can hinder non-Rock, Ground, or Steel-types, but Hippowdon has really good Attack and Defense, it's not a bad option, but it is one to consider.
For the rarer encounter, Hawlucha is a 2% random encounter, and it is a great Pokémon if you can get one, its signature move Flying Press is both a Fighting and Flying-type move in one, and it can learn High Jump Kick and Acrobatics for good moves. Hawlucha has very high Speed and good Attack, and if taught Swords Dance and some good coverage moves like Poison Jab and X-Scissor, Hawlucha can sweep entire teams, so if you get really lucky, Hawlucha is a great Pokémon to add to your team.
You can restore your Fossil there with a woman named Cara Liss, which I think is meant to be a play on careless, because you fuse two fossils to get one Pokémon. In Sword, you will have Fossilized Bird and Fossilized Dino, which will give you an Arctozolt, while in Shield you are likely to have Fossilized Drake and Fossilized Fish, which will give you a Dracovish.
Now to go over the Fossils:
Drake + Bird: Dracozolt - Electric/Dragon
Dino + Bird: Arctozolt - Electric/Ice
Drake + Fish: Dracovish - Water/Dragon
Dino + Fish: Arctovish - Water/Ice

These Pokémon have twisted Pokédex entries and that they are terribly mutated, like Arctozolt's head shivering, Dracovish not being able to breathe on land, and because they are unnatural beings, they cannot breed, that is some twisted mutation, not even Mewtwo or Genesect can compared to those unnatural beings.
Another thing to note is that Dracozolt and Arctozolt can learn Bolt Beak, while Dracovish and Arctovish can learn Fishious Rend, these moves become more powerful before the target attacks. You get them at Level 10 and it will take a lot of grinding to get them up to level, they learn their signature moves at Level 63.
Not to go over Stow-on-Side, and other than his starter, Hop has a completely different team, he will use Cramorant, Toxel, and Silicobra, along with his starter, Raboot, Drizzile, or Thwackey. He shouldn't be too hard. There is an in-game trade where you can trade a Maractus for either a Hatenna in Sword, or Impidimp in Shield, those are good options for the upcoming Gym, as the Gym Leader is version exclusive, it is a Fighting-type Gym run be Bea in Sword, or a Ghost-type Gym run by Allister in Shield. You can also get a TM for Venoshock and Fly, which are nice moves to pick up, and there is a bargain shop which will sell you evolution items and type-based items, and a collector that you can get a ton of money from if you sell him items, like a Big Pearl or Mushroom. We also find a new item called the Cracked Pot, which can be used to evolve a Pokémon called Sinistea, which we have not yet encountered, but we will soon. There are other evolution items, a Metal Coat to evolve Onix into Steelix when traded, and a Dusk Stone, which you can use to evolve Lampent into Chandelure. You can also get a Rocky Helmet, which makes the attacker take damage if they make contact, this is nice on slow and defensive Pokémon.
I haven't gone over Brilliant Pokémon yet, you may see a Pokémon with a yellow aura, they will have guaranteed IVs in two stats and have Egg moves, and if you catch or defeat the Pokémon, you will earn some Watts.
