It is time to take on the Stow-on-Side Gym and its leader, Bea in a battle. This Gym uses Fighting-type Pokémon, in Shield it would be a Ghost-type Gym, and Allister would be the Gym Leader. This one has a tricky puzzle.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Before taking on the Gym, I show off Glimwood Tangle, but you cannot advance further because of Team Yell, but you can catch an Impidimp when you interact with the mushrooms in the forest, I will go over Impidimp in the next part, but it's there if you want to catch one, and fun fact, Impidimp was revealed in pre-release demos for Sword & Shield, but it never got an official reveal in trailers.
The Impidimp or Hatenna you get through the trade can be evolved at Level 32, giving you a good option for the Gym Leader.
You get what looks to be a pinball machine and a spinning teacup that you would see in a theme park, it would take a lot of time to go over everything as the Gym Leader is version exclusive, I will start by going over Bea's team.
Hitmontop: Triple Kick, Quick Attack, Counter, Revenge
Pangoro: Bullet Punch, Circle Throw, Night Slash, Work Up
Sirfetch'd: Detect, Swords Dance, Brutal Swing, Revenge
Machamp: Scary Face, Revenge, Knock Off, Strength

Most of Bea's team know Revenge, this is a dangerous move if you attack them on the turn it is used, specially from Sirfetch'd after one Swords Dance. Bea will Gigantamax her Machamp, and Max Knuckle will turn into G-Max Chi Strike, which increases the chances of Machamp scoring a critical hit. If you have any good Psychic, Flying or Fairy-type Pokémon, you should be able to defeat Bea and earn the Fighting Badge, as well as the TM for Revenge.
Now to go over Allister's team.
Yamask: Brutal Swing, Hex, Disable
Mimikyu: Shadow Sneak, Baby-Doll Eyes, Hone Claws, Slash
Cursola: Ancient Power, Curse, Hex
Gengar: Venoshock, Hex, Hypnosis, Payback

There are some Pokémon that I will have to go over, first up is Mimikyu's Disguise Ability, where Mimikyu will lost 1/8th of its HP when its Disguise breaks, so that is a huge nerf to it and so Mimikyu can no longer use its Focus Sash, as Mimikyu was a popular Pokémon in Sun & Moon competitive battling. Cursola is the evolved form of Galarian Corsola, and it is my least favourite Gen 8 Pokémon, I just don't like Cursola's design, I appologize to those that really like Cursola, but I don't like it. Cursola will use Curse to cut its own HP and make it so you lose a quarter of your HP at the end of each turn. Allister will Gigantamax his Gengar, and Max Phantasm turns into G-Max Terror, which prevents the target from escaping, so this is almost like Mega Gengar's Shadow Tag. Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon are your best shot, other alternatives is a Steel-type to handle Mimikyu and a Ground or Psychic-type move to take on Gengar. After defeating Allister, you don't get a Shy Guy mask, you get a Ghost Badge and the TM for Hex.
After leaving the Gym, where Sonia awaits, we witness a crime, which was caused by no other than Bede, who borrowed Chairman Rose's Copperajah, which must have evolved from the Cufant he sent out in the opening cutscene, in an attempt to destroy a mural. Ever since then, Bede's team has evolved except for Ponyta, his Duosion has Psyshock and can set up screens, while his other Pokémon know Psybeam. Gothorita has Fake Tears to lower your Special Defense, and his Hattrem, the evolved form of Hatenna, has Dazzling Gleam to counter Dark-types, this can be a trickier fight, but with the correct counters, you should be able to win this fight.
After that crime Bede committed, there are no guesses to what happened to him for borrowing Copperajah from Chairman Rose to try and destroy an important landmark, and having to face the chairman and his secretary.
Now that my starter is fully evolved, I will only go over Sobble's final form, I do like how Inteleon looks like a spy, this is the Secret Agent Pokémon, and that its signature move is Snipe Shot, which does have an increased critical-hit ratio, and it ignores moves and Abilities that draw in moves, like Follow Me and Storm Drain. It's not released at the time, but Inteleon does get Sniper for its Hidden Ability, which is fitting for what it is, I will go over the other two fully evolved starters when I next fight Hop, because there is no surprise that his starter will have fully evolved the next time we meet him.
