Holy shit, how high does this Tower goes for? Infinite maybe? Not complaining because each battle gives like 10 BP now and I need a lot to max IV and other stuff (making some shiny or capable of Gigantamaxing).

My mono-poison team is still the only team that I'm very comfortable with; worked for me for XY/ORAS, worked for me for SM and worked for me on Showdown. I just can't make another team that has the rate of success this team has brought me. Mega Venusaur, Weezing and Crobat are just indispensable.

I was torn between Drapion and Alolan Muk as the Psychic counter, because I really love Drapion, but Alolan Muk is the better Assault Vest user with Poison Touch and priority Shadow Sneak. Fire Punch also has higher base power compared to Fire Fang.

Midway through the tower, I changed Crobat's Leftover for Flyinium Z for that extra damage and removing recoil from Brave Bird. I had Roost anyway (which I never actually need to use), and Crobat is best at revenge killing fast threats.

Pokemon Unbound is my most favorite fangame so far.

My last Pokemon game is SM because the lack of Mega Evo in Gen 8 is a dealbreaker to me (also no Zubat, but that's fixed now). Wasn't a fan of Z-moves either, but at least SM has Mega Evo even if there're no new ones.

So of course I'm going to play a fangame that has Mega Evo. Unbound's storyline is kinda extra at times with death and killing and shit, but the whole package is very amazing. Battles are actually fun because of the level scaling so I was never overlevelled. Dynamax being the main boss fight mechanic is a very cool idea.

Gating the Mega Stones behind Expert and boss fights is a brilliant idea, making the hurdle to get them that much more satisfying.

I can only do Difficult Mode though, because in Expert there's that one Alola Persian boss fight in Crater Town(?) that just blocked me from progressing. I am indeed a filthy casual.

Postgame is really packed in this game. It just opens up the game a lot, and I really love that I don't need to breed anything in this game and can just pay people to teach Egg Moves, change Nature, IV, and even shinyness of Pokemon. It's like having savegame editor in game.

I do hope the dev brings Gen 8 Pokemon into this game, even if it's very unlikely. Then again, my mono-poison team are all Gen 1/2 mons, so more mons would be wasted on me.
