We get a new Pokémon added into Pokémon UNITE, and to tie in with an Egg Themed Event, which adds a new Holowear for Wigglytuff, but that's not the Pokémon I am using in this video, but both players are using that Pokémon on each side, the Pokémon that I am using is Azumarill, that is the Pokémon that was added to this game. I will list the other players in this match.
Fyypos - Alolan Ninetales
byronydh07 - Decidueye
omerxx - Wigglytuff
MF20 - Sylveon

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
Delaya09 - Gardevoir
JoeyCS - Wigglytuff
ismael80 - Snorlax
AwAlma - Venusaur
Keev47 - Gengar

I will go over Azumarill's stats, it is kind of average in terms of statistics, its Ability of Huge Power is the main reason to use Azumarill, its moves will always be a critical hit if it hits only a single target, but they are not critical hits if it hits two or more Pokémon, so Azumarill's playstyle is about 1v1 fights, it is good in the Central Area, but it struggles with team fights, most notably the Zapdos objective near the end of the match.
It starts off matches as Marill, and its starting moves are Tackle and Bubble, when going in the Central Area, I would recommend Tackle, that way you can fight against the Pokémon in the Central Area until you evolve into Azumarill. Tackle is a charge attack that leaves the target unable to act for a short time, and Bubble deals damage to opposing Pokémon and decreases their movement speed for a short time, and Marill can move around when using that move.
At Level 5, Marill will evolve into Azumarill, and it learns Whirlpool or Aqua Tail, they replace Bubble. When using Whirlpool, Azumarill will be surrounded by four small whirlpools that swirl around as it moves, and if a whirlpool hits an opposing Pokémon, Azumarill's HP will be restored, and the effect is increased if it hits a Pokémon on the opposing team. Aqua Tail increases Azumarill's speed and area of effect of its next three basic attacks, its basic attacks normally deal increased damage as a boosted attack, but when using Aqua Tail, they deal increased damage and it ignores the Defense stat and shield effects of opposing Pokémon.
At Level 7, Tackle will be replaced by Play Rough or Water Pulse. Play Rough increases Azumarill's movement speed for a short time, and it changes its basic attack, where it lunges at an opposing Pokémon and delivers repeated blows, leaving them unable to act for a short time, and Water Pulse is a ranged move that decreases the opposing Pokémon's movement speed and all opposing Pokémon that are in the area around the Pokémon hit. The blast of water bounces to another target, and can bounce up to three targets consecutively, and Azumarill can perform a short rolling dash when using that move.
Azumarill's Unite Move is Belly Bash, which is learned at Level 9, Azumarill gains a shield and loses HP in exchange for increased Attack, much like the move Belly Drum in the main series games, and it targets an opposing Pokémon and then charges at that Pokémon, dealing damage and throwing all opposing Pokémon it hits while charging.
At Level 11, Whirlpool or Aqua Tail are upgraded, Whirlpool has reduced cooldown and increases the amount of HP it restores to Azumarill, and Aqua Tail reduces the cooldown of all of Azumarill's moves when its next three basic attacks hit an opposing Pokémon from a distance. At Level 13, Play Rough or Water Pulse are upgraded, Play Rough increases Azumarill's movement speed when used, and it reduces the cooldown for that move, and Water Pulse increases the maximum number of targets the blast of water can bounce between by two.
For held items, Azumarill can work very well with Muscle Band, Energy Amplifier, Weakness Policy, Scope Lens, Focus Band, and many others, and it is all about fighting opponents in 1v1 fights, and its Unite move charges very quickly, which is a good thing about it, but it doesn't have good mobility, and it doesn't have great crowd control, but it can't deal with team fights very well, and they happen during the Zapdos objective. While it loses HP for its Unite Move, having the Buddy Barrier helps prevent damage loss, as it gains extra shields whenever it uses a Unite Move, and on the site where I look up matchups, from what I have seen, Azumarill only has three good matchups, the three being Eldegoss, Cramorant, and Hoopa, and it has an even match-up against Duraludon, this could likely be because Eldegoss isn't a damage dealer, Cramorant is very frail, and Hoopa requires support to stand a good chance.
As for moves, I would say that Whirlpool and Play Rough work well together, but you could go with Aqua Tail and Play Rough for a good combo in boosting Azumarill's mobility, Water Pulse works best with Aqua Tail, it depends what set you prefer when using it.
