I take on the Academy Ace Tournament, which is a good way for experience and money, as you take on various Trainers from the academy, I do want to show about every possible opponent you can battle against in the tournament.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

In the Academy Ace Tournament, your opponents are randomized, your possible opponents for Rounds 1 to 3 include Arven, Penny, Jacq, Dendra, Saguaro, Salvatore, Tyme, Miriam, and Raifort, and in the final round, your opponents include Nemona, Geeta, Hassel, and Clavell. The reasons for the final opponent in the tournament is because Nemona is a Champion Rank Trainer, Geeta is the league chairwoman and the Top Champion, and while Hassel is one of the teachers, he is a member of the Elite Four, and Clavell is the academy's director.
I won't go over their moves, as that will take up a lot of the description of the video, but I will go over their teams in the description, listing them in that order, as well as the Tera Type of their final Pokémon.
Arven: Greedent, Cloyster, Scovillain, Toedscruel, Garganacl, Mabosstiff (Dark Tera Type)
Penny: Umbreon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, Sylveon (Fairy Tera Type)
Jacq: Arcanine, Lurantis, Swalot, Mudsdale, Slowbro, Farigiraf (Psychic Tera Type)
Dendra: Falinks, Tauros (Blaze Breed), Tauros (Aqua Breed), Medicham, Hawlucha, Hariyama (Fighting Tera Type)
Saguaro: Pachirisu, Froslass, Alomomola, Vespiquen, Goodra, Hatterene (Fairy Tera Type)
Salvatore: Honchkrow, Persian, Palossand, Glaceon, Gothitelle, Raichu (Electric Tera Type)
Tyme: Lycanroc (Midday Form), Lycanroc (Midnight Form), Drednaw, Stonjourner, Coalossal, Garganacl (Rock Tera Type)
Miriam: Hypno, Pincurchin, Sawsbuck (Autumn Form), Glalie, Eelektross, Toxapex (Poison Tera Type)
Raifort: Zoroark, Seviper, Grumpig, Lumineon, Scizor, Gengar (Ghost Tera Type)
Nemona: Lycanroc (Midday Form), Goodra, Dudunsparce, Orthworm, Pawmot, Quaquaval (Water Tera Type)/Meowscarada (Grass Tera Type)/Skeledirge (Fire Tera Type)
Geeta: Espathra, Gogoat, Veluza, Avalugg, Kingambit, Glimmora (Rock Tera Type)
Hassel: Noivern, Haxorus, Dragalge, Flapple, Dragonite, Baxcalibur (Dragon Tera Type)
Clavell: Oranguru, Abomasnow, Poleageist, Amoonguss/Houndoom/Gyarados, Gyarados/Amoonguss/Houndoom, Skeledirge (Fire Tera Type)/Quaquaval (Water Tera Type)/Meowscarada (Grass Tera Type)

One thing I never went over in the initial video was that after participating in the tournament for the first time, this unlocks 6 Star Tera Raid battles, and if you did enough 5 Star Tera Raid battles, Jacq contacts you about the 6 Star Tera Raid battles, these ones have a black crystal instead of the one that matches the type, and there is only 6 Star Tera Raid crystal per real-life day, and these ones are much more difficult than 5 Star Tera Raid Battles.
There are some good rewards for taking part in the Academy Ace Tournament, the most common is a random Mint, the second most common are three random Tera Shards, you can even get a PP Up, Bottle Cap, Rare Candy, some Vitamins, and very rarely, an Apricorn Ball, and there is a very rare chance you can get a Beast Ball for participating.
This was the last thing I wanted to show in the playthrough, it was good going through the 9th Generation of Pokémon, there were some things I didn't like about the game, for a game where you can do any Gym, Titan, or Team Star Boss in any order, levels don't even scale based on your progression, making it so that you are intended to fight them in order based on their level. I did like how the Academy Ace Tournament is like fighting the Elite Four, because in this game, you cannot challenge the Elite Four again, even though you do fight Hassel and Geeta as opponents in the Academy Ace Tournament, and I have seen speculation that in a DLC update, where in Sword & Shield, after completing the DLC stories, it unlocked a special mode where you take part in a tournament against every Gym Leader in Galar, I wouldn't mind seeing like an expansion to the Academy Ace Tournament where you get to battle the Gym Leaders of Paldea, as well as the Elite Four. It's because in previous Pokémon games, you were able to rematch the Elite Four every time, and with the Gym Leaders, in this game, they can only be rematched once, and it's before the Academy Ace Tournament.
