I take the west from Mossui Town, which leads to Reveler's Road, and I meet up with Jacq, who invites me to a picnic, and I get a special gift from him. Then I explore Reveler's Road and capture some Pokémon, as well as battle some Trainers as I head to Kitakami Hall.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

When you head west, you will find Jacq, and we receive an Egg, even though he only brought Gulpin with him, it turned out Jacq had the Egg with him the whole time and it is a gift for us. This Egg can hatch into a random Sinnoh starter, you can get Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup. I won't go over too much about them, but I will explain about some new improvements they got, Turtwig can get Shell Smash as an Egg Move, Piplup now has Competitive for its Hidden Ability, as this boosts Special Attack when its stats are lowered by he opponent, and with Chimchar, it did get some new moves like Knock Off, Aura Sphere, and a few others. They can learn some powerful attacks when fully evolved, Turtwig can get Headlong Rush, Chimchar learns Raging Fury, which is a Fire-type Outrage clone, and Piplup can get Wave Crash.
Time to go over encounters, and while you can find Heracross, which is a great Pokémon early on, as it has very good stats, compared to Paldea where you don't normally get Heracross till late in the game. The new encounter is Vulpix, which can be evolved into Ninetales right away with a Fire Stone, and it can relearn most of Vulpix's moves, like Flamethrower, Extrasensory, Nasty Plot, and Will-O-Wisp, and it can get Energy Ball through TM. It has Speed and Special Defense for its best stats, and a decent Special Attack stat, a solid choice for a Fire-type. If you visit Kitakami early in the game, Ninetales is overpowered in the early game when you can give it moves like Flamethrower and watch it take out opponents easier than your other team members.
Next is Lotad, a Water/Grass-type, while a good choice in the early game, at this point Lotad comes with Energy Ball and Bubble Beam. You can find its evolved form Lombre in the wild, and when you evolve it into Ludicolo with a Water Stone, it learns most of Lombre's level up moves, like Hydro Pump, Giga Drain, and many others, and if you visited Kitakami early on, Ludicolo breaks the early game with those moves, but for that point where the Pokémon's levels are high, it's a good Pokémon.
Its counterpart Seedot is another good Grass-type, it learns Razor Leaf when it evolves into Nuzleaf, but you can find Nuzleaf in the wild. With a Leaf Stone, you can get Shiftry right away, and it can relearn Leaf Blade, Sucker Punch, and Extrasensory, and like with Ludicolo, Shiftry also breaks the early game with moves like Leaf Blade and Extrasensory. Shiftry can get Wind Rider, previously exclusive to the Bramblin line where its Attack is boosted when hit by a wind move, like Gust or Air Cutter, it will not take damage from them, or when it uses Tailwind, that is a good improvement for Shiftry in this game.
In the rocky areas, there is Sandshrew, a Ground-type with good Defense and can be evolved into Sandslash right away, it has a rough early game until it learns Bulldoze at Level 18. While Sandshrew comes with Earthquake right away at a high level, and it does get good TMs like Shadow Claw, Rock Slide, and Brick Break, and it can use Swords Dance to boost its attack, if you want to use a Ground-type, it is right there.
Then we have Swinub, its early game is rough with not the best stats and a late evolution, but at high levels, Swinub comes equipped with Earthquake, it can learn Icicle Crash as an Egg Move, and it can get Icicle Spear through TM. When it evolves into Piloswine, it can relearn Ancient Power, and you can evolve it into Mamoswine right away after one level, Mamoswine has a massive Attack stat, it is a very powerful Ice/Ground-type that can hit hard, it is a solid choice if you need to use an Ice-type.
For other encounters, it is good you can find Fomantis, Pachirisu, and a few others much easier, because Fomantis was not easily accessible in Paldea, it wasn't available till later in the game, and Pachirisu was very rare, there were some static encounters for it, but it wasn't that easy, but in Kitakami, they are much easier to find. When you get closer to Kitakami Hall, there is someone you can talk to who gives you some chairs if you have collected some tablecloths, which you can buy from shops in areas like Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascaraffa. There is another part of Reveler's Road, and the Pokémon around there are at a higher level, I might check that out in the next part.
