I make it to Mossui Town, and this is where I meet up with a pair of siblings, who are from Kitakami, the eldest one, Carmine, puts me to the test to see if I am worthy enough to explore Kitakami, and after visitng the Caretaker of the community center, we get put into teams to check out the signboards located around Kitakami.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I make it to Mossui Town and take on Carmine in a battle, her team is Poochyena, Vulpix, and Poltchageist, her team has different levels if you have not beaten the main story, her team would be Level 12 to 13 instead of Level 60. This would be an easy battle, but as I am challenging myself in only using Pokémon that I have caught in Kitakami, prepare to see me struggle against some of the Trainers.
To explain about Poltchageist, not to be confused with Polteageist, it is a Ghost/Grass-type Pokémon and was thought to be a regional variant of Sinistea and Polteageist, kind of like Wiglett and Toedscool in the base game, I will explain more about Poltchageist when I capture one, but you can find them in the wild nearby.
Then we meet the Caretaker, who kind of looks like Mr. Fuji from Lavender Town, and after checking out the community center, we then get put to teams, and I take on Carmine's shy, younger brother Kieran, and he shouldn't be underestimated, his team is Sentret and Yanma, his Sentret knows Dig and his Yanma has Giga Drain. If you are doing this early on, his Yanma's Air Cutter can really deal some damage.
After that, we explore Mossui Town, there is a couple who ask us to show them a Pokémon that is like a love couple, I want to say that you get something if you show them a Volbeat and Illumise, which only spawn at night. There is a woman with a camera named Perrin, and her partner is a Hisuian Growlithe, and if we capture 150 Pokémon in Kitakami, she has a quest we can do.
Time to go over encounters, nearby is Apple Hills, and there are some Pokémon we can find, and the cave nearby has a tough Trainer with Level 75 Pokémon, I will show them later. First up is Sentret, the early-game Normal-type from Johto, Sentret comes with Double-Edge and Sucker Punch, and it does have good TM access to moves like Shadow Claw, Dig, U-turn, and the Elemental Punches, it evolves at Level 15, but you can find its evolved form Furret in the wild. Interesting fact, Sentret can learn Tidy Up as an Egg Move, this move is the signature move of Maushold and it increases the user's Attack and Speed while clearing out entry hazards.
Next is Ekans, I recommend Intimidate if you want to use it, and it comes with Coil and Glare, it is decent early on. When it evolves into Arbok, it learns Crunch upon evolution, and it can learn the Elemental Fangs, it's a solid Poison-type with Intimidate, but it faces competition with better Pokémon.
Then we have Bellsprout, it learns the powder moves and it is stuck with Vine Whip for a long time early on, requiring TMs like Bullet Seed and Trailblaze to help with the early game. As for when to evolve Weepinbell as I don't like the fact they stepped back with stone evolutions, I would say right away, Victreebel can learn Poison Jab through TM and it can relearn Power Whip, it's a decent mixed attacker.
In the river around Kitakami Road is Poliwag, this one comes with Hydro Pump and Earth Power at high levels. Its evolved form Poliwhirl can evolve into the physical attacker Poliwrath, a Water/Fighting-type with solid Attack and Defense, with a Water Stone, or when traded with a King's Rock, into Politoed, which has Special Attack and Special Defense for its best stats. Poliwrath and Politoed can relearn most of Poliwhirl's moves through the Move Reminder, Poliwrath can get Circle Throw, and Politoed can get Perish Song and Hyper Voice, they are decent Water-types to use.
Next is Chimecho, once an elusive Pokémon, but a decent Psychic-type, not the best there is, and it requires a TM to learn Psychic. Chimecho does have some decent utility moves like Yawn, Heal Bell, and Safeguard, and most of its good moves are through TM, like Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, and Dazzling Gleam, if you are wondering about its pre-evolved form Chingling, I will go more into it when we start seeing them in the wild, but know this is where you can get Chimecho early on.
The last one I find in this video is Aipom, this Pokémon is exclusive to Violet, and if you want to use one, make sure you go with Run Away, this turns into Technician when it evolves into Ambipom, which it does when it levels up while knowing Double Hit. Aipom does get some good TM access to moves like Aerial Ace, Trailblaze, Low Sweep, U-turn, and many others, and if you are really interested, it gets Covet and Fake Out as Egg Moves. Its version counterpart is Gligar, which I will go over in the area where it is first available.
