Let's take a break from watching me fail in Mega Man X....and watch me fail at Pokken instead! This is the first of two videos from a recent session, so I will have the same pool of assists. Strap in for some close calls and crushing defeats...maybe a few victories?

Match 1: Pikachu Libre (me) vs. Garchomp (Zach)
Haunted House

I hope you like PIkachu Libre, cuz she is all over this session. She's honestly the most-used character as far as I can see... Combining fast attacks, decent projectiles and awesome wrestling moves, it's not hard to see why people like her...I can't use her that well though, it seems! Garchomp's aggressive play just intimidates me too much. Hey wait, it DOES have Intimidate as an ability, right?!

Match 2: Machamp (me) vs. Pikachu Libre (Sezwan)
Old Ferrum Town (Winter)

Two grapplers going at it! Machamp's got his hands full though, when R. Pika here (heh heh) can just zip around like no one's business. What's particularly troubling is that in Burst Mode, many of it's attacks paralyze opponents, opening them up for more damage. Machamp packs a punch though and with one mistep, he can turn the match around in a flash!

Match 3: Shadow Mewtwo (me) vs. Mewtwo (Mark)
Speed Training Gym

Oh hai, Mark. Ah ha hah. Now, we've got two Psychic juggernauts on display! Mewtwo here has a TON of moves at it's disposal. All three elemental punches, Drain Punch, Psycho Cut, and more! By and large, it excels at having a tool for any situation, and can cancel out of Barrier into a few different Special Moves.

Shadow Mewtwo has been corrupted by a Shadow Synergy Stone, granting it power at a price. Many of it's moves can be amplified by Miracle Eye, or it can use a powerful projectile (Shadow Ball?) that can be canceled into other moves, but doing so inflicts recoil damage. When Shadow Mewtwo has the lowest health in the game, making it the glassiest of cannons, that's no good, so don't panic and use moves like crazy (like I TOTALLY don't do!) or you'll have no health. Now, who will win?! Light vs. Dark!!

Match 4: Charizard (me) vs. Braixen (Youta)
Old Ferrum Town (Winter)

I seem to get this match up a lot. Rare footage of me actually using Charizard decently. I actually remember some of it's moves! Oh yeah, and some interesting tech regarding Synergy Burst and Latios. The knockback from the transformation pushes me into the debuff. Pretty sneaky, there uh...Bulldozer.

Match 5: Sceptile (me) vs. Chandelure (AlanStorm)
Diggersby Land

Ugh....yeah, let's just get this over with, eh? Fighting Chandelure is a drag...as my other video will demonstrate. For now, I guess I have an interesting observation. Leaf Blade can get through some of Chandelure's projectiles but that BEAM is still a pain to deal with.

And....disconnection? I doubt it was a rage quit though. Way to leave us in suspense, game!

Part one is done, come back..whenever for part two....whenever I get to uploading it. Schedules? What are those?!
