Match 71: Iggy (Me) vs. Diddy Kong (Jo) vs. Wario (Unagi)

Bowser Jr. (and his sorta-siblings) aren't used enough, so I gave it a go with Iggy, cuz why not? I dunno what Wario's deal was, but he's out of the game quick. I'm sure we can just blame Skull Kid for that, right? Here's something interesting...just HOW did Skull Kid get summoned in mid-fall like that? Look closely and you'll see that Wario ends up atop Gogoat as he falls and that acts as solid ground to summon the Assist Trophy. Neato! (Roughly around the 1:26 mark)
Match 72: Takamaru (Mii...Me) vs. Ganondorf (Jo) vs. Link (Unagi)

Hey look, two legendary heroes teaming up to take out the evil Ganondorf! Man do I wish Takamaru got a new game....
You might find it odd that Takamaru's so projectile heavy, but that's how his own game worked, right? Odd thing I noticed upon re-watching this...I only use my Down Special a total of ONCE this fight.

Man, did I miss this stage. I've played a ton of matches on it in the days when Brawl was the new Smash on the block, so I know all it's tricks! Like avoiding the front of the ship when submerged or else suffer an instant KO. Or getting to the top of the mast to avoid cannon fire! Or avoiding the catapult!
Electroshock Arm didn't exist in Brawl though, and with it, there's some wonky knockback going on as victims are dragged along the stage after contact. And the King of Red Lions even gets in a save at once point! Thanks for nothing, you old coot!
Match 74: Duck Hunt (Me) vs. Sheik (Jo) vs. Captain Falcon (Unagi)

Friend's Match
Can't pass up a chance to show Midgar off! Always controlled chaos here...moreso when Captain Falcon nabs (almost!) every Summon Materia that appears. I'm STILL salty over that water KOing me so easily. I'm not saying I was gonna win anyways, but that definitely cut my chances of lasting longer in half. Such is Smash though!
