4 versions of the arcade version of Power Drift in a work-in-progress 4 way MAME Sega Y board ink-up, created by MAME link-up sorceress supreme SailorSat. The Sega Y Board is an arcade system board released by Sega in 1988 as a successor to the Sega X Board. Like the X Board before it, the Y Board was known for its 3D sprite/texture manipulation capabilities. It is the fourth in the Super Scaler series of arcade boards, after the Sega Hang-On hardware, Sega OutRun hardware and X Board. This is the attract mode running, with a little bit of gameplay with me controlling all four windows with the keyboard.

SailorSat has also created a Sega X board link-up for Super Monaco GP. This kind of blew my mind when I found out, as I had no idea those 2 old Sega classic games even had any multiplayer link-up functionality. I don't think I ever saw a Power Drift cabinet in real life and I think I only ever saw a Super Monaco in singular upright form. It's amazing to think that Sega were doing link up multiplayer arcade games all the way back in the 80's!
